Executive Director Ray Dennison accepts Large Business of the Year Award from Alexandria Chamber President & CEO Joe Haggerty and Alexandria Chamber 2019 Board Chair Charlotte Hall.
Alexandria, VA — Brandywine Living is proud to announce that the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce has named Brandywine Living at Alexandria, Large Business of the Year. The award was one of six distributed at the 26th annual Best in Business Awards held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.
Brandywine Living at Alexandria, the company’s first location in Virginia, is situated minutes away from historic Old Town Alexandria and offers assisted living and memory care options to the community’s seniors. The award comes shortly after the community’s one-year anniversary.

The Best in Business Awards reception, held at The Westin Alexandria, featured dishes from 20 Alexandria restaurants and was sponsored by Burke & Herbet Bank along with other local businesses. Chamber President & CEO, Joe Haggerty, and Alexandria Chamber 2019 Board Chair, Charlotte Hall, presented awards to winners of each category. Brandywine Living of Alexandria was selected as the winning business out of five nominations.
