Brandywine Seniors Enjoy Cruise on Cornucopia Cruise Line

PERTH AMBOY – A group of seniors from Brandywine Living at Princeton located at  155 Raymond Road boarded the Cornucopia Princess via the Cornucopia Cruise Line on Saturday, August 1st. Residents ages to 83 to 95 enjoyed a four hour excursion exploring the NY and NJ  Waterways.

Some of the seniors have not been on a cruise in 60 plus years ,”said Stephanie Gaber,  Brandywine Senior Living  Escapades Producer.  Kirt Wedemeyer,  89,  a resident of  Brandywine Living at Princeton  said, “ I was really looking forward to this.”   “ My wife Terry and I haven’t cruised since the 80’s.” Another Brandywine passenger Donald McClure, 95, said “When I heard I was going on a cruise I was so excited I couldn’t sleep, it’s been years since my last cruise!”  Gaber said,  “I wanted to make a memorable summer experience for our residents, and I thought going on a Saturday afternoon Cruise would definitely create memorable moments and new memories! We will definitely be coming back for round two of the Cornucopia Cruise Line next spring or summer.”

In addition to this exciting excursion the residents of Brandywine Senior Living enjoyed a scrumptious lunch!
