On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, Brandywine Living communites answered the call to participate in the Alzheimer's Association biggest fundraising day of the year.

The Longest Day, observed on the summer solstice, is the Alzheimer’s Association's most active fundraising day of the year to spread awareness and raise funds for a cure. Participants from around the world fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through a fundraising activity of their choice.

Brandywine team members created unique fundraisers to engage their local community and residents.

Notable highlights include a Community Vendor Event, DIY Floral Bouquets, Miles for Memories, Sweets Sale, T-Shirt Sales, Ice Cream Truck, Casual for A Cause, and more.
Over $17,000 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Association by communities across six states. In addition to raising funds for a cure, The Longest Day provides an opportunity for people to connect about their experiences.
