Potomac, MD — Ann Black had never attended a ribbon cutting ceremony before but as Brandywine Living at Potomac’s first resident, she not only attended their ceremony but had the honor of cutting the ribbon.
Together with the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce, Ann celebrated the luxury senior living community officially joining the Potomac community on May 13, 2021. Local businesses and professionals had the opportunity to tour their new neighbor, a 120-suite community serving seniors with a focus on independence and a vibrant lifestyle.
Private tours included a socially distanced walk through the community’s common areas such as lounges, courtyards, therapy pool, beauty salon, movie theater, dining venues and model suites. Potomac team members explained their services that range from assisted living and memory care to Serenade which includes a private butler, private dining and upgraded suite options.
Allie Williams, CEO of the Greater Bethesda Chamber commented, “From the inviting double staircase in the front entrance, to the amazing design layout of the three floors of luxury, Brandywine Living at Potomac is simply spectacular. The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce was invited to participate in the Ribbon Cutting for the Grand Opening of this signature community nestled in a cozy slice of Potomac just off of Falls Road. The staff from this community is engaged, excited and helped us understand the community they have build and the unparalleled attention they provide to not only the residence, but their families. With the snip of the ribbon, Resident #1 opened the pathway for private tours and see features such as the multiple reading rooms, dining rooms, parlors, indoor pool, salon, theater, bistro’s, and many lounges throughout. Many of us were captivated by the huge fish tanks and gorgeous décor in each space. The living quarters in the Serenade area as well as the Assisted Living area are spacious, warm and attractive. There is no doubt that Brandywine Living at Potomac is an exceptional option for your family needs, and I certainly encourage you to go and take a tour for yourself. You will be glad you did.”
Professionals also enjoyed a meet and greet with the Potomac management team to learn about networking opportunities.
“Ann wasn’t the only one who never attended a ribbon cutting ceremony before, it was my first time as well,” commented Travis Royall, a Brandywine Living Director of Community Relations. “But the Greater Bethesda Chamber provided valuable assistance in making this event a success. It was truly awesome to see people from vast backgrounds in awe of the place I work. We appreciate our partnership with this genuinely first class association and look forward to inviting them back to attend our official grand opening in the fall,” he continued.
Brandywine Living at Potomac is the company’s second community to join the Washington, D.C. metro area after the 2018 opening of their Alexandria, VA location. The community is accepting new residents and welcomes families to tour with their loved ones to learn why life is beautiful at Brandywine.
