Moorestown, NJ — On November 28, over twenty attendees attended the ServSafe® Program facilitated at Brandywine University.
The training and certification are recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification, is accredited by the American National Standards Institute and Conference for Food Protection, and a requirement in assisted living for Directors of Dining Services and Chefs.
The course objective is to prepare attendees for the Food Protection Manager Certification Examination. Led by certified proctors (Bret Jefferson, Jeanine O’Toole, and Dale Wilkinson, RD, LDN from US Foods), the course covered purchasing and receiving guidelines, food preparation, serving guidelines, kitchen, and equipment sanitation guidelines and food safety regulations.
