LONGWOOD

Known for its lush countryside, rivers, and stunning botanical gardens, Pennsylvania's Brandywine Valley has earned the moniker of America's Garden Capital. Most renowned among these famous gardens is Longwood Gardens, the vast botanical gardens only ten minutes from our community. At Brandywine Longwood, residents enjoy strolling Longwood Gardens and attending its many community events. They also frequent Kennett Square, a charming village lined with restaurants and independent shops. For more adventures, they visit the surrounding vineyards of Chester County and the famous mushroom farms that are responsible for growing half the mushrooms in the United States. Ideal for history lovers and art buffs, our community is also close to Brandywine Battlefield historic landmark and park as well as Brandywine Museum of Art. We are less than 30 minutes to West Chester and Wilmington and an hour from Philadelphia. Our well-appointed, wheelchair-accessible house vehicles, in addition to our chauffeured town cars, can transport residents to nearby theaters, cinemas, shopping centers, and other local points of interest.
