Monmouth County Seniors “Stuff the Bus” to Benefit Local Children

Colts Neck, NJ — Brandywine Living communities in Monmouth County joined together to bring cheer to children at local hospitals during their second annual “Stuff the Bus” hosted this holiday season.

Residents and team members prepped their Brandywine buses, utilized for excursions, with festive holiday décor to welcome toy donations during November and December.

Six buses were “stuffed” by families, team members and the local community for a grand total of 345 toys to be distributed by Daniel’s Wish to local hospitals before Christmas.

Each participating community hosted a Last Day Collection party featuring special holiday treats on Saturday, December 7 to celebrate a successful drive and thank donors.

“This is our second year collecting toys for Daniela’s Wish and we plan on continuing the tradition to stuff our buses yearly. Our residents really enjoy making a difference in the local community and combining our efforts helped make a greater impact for children who are spending the holiday at the hospital”, commented Linda Keating, Director of Community Relations at Brandywine Living Reflections at Colts Neck.

Coordinated in Colts Neck, NJ, Daniela’s Wish is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children who are suffering from illness or tragedy.
