Brandywine Living is excited to announce that plans are underway for a new Serenade wing in their Moorestown Estates community.
Serenade is meticulously designed to surpass expectations and was inspired by a lifestyle with an emphasis on luxury, privacy and service. Some of the amenities include well-appointed suites, a dedicated butler, concierge services, room service, private dining and much more.
“We have recently seen two incredibly successful Serenade wings fill at neighboring communities in Voorhees and Haddonfield. The only problem is that we have a waitlist of people and not enough suites. We know the need and desire in the market is there and we are excited to provide more living options to the seniors of South Jersey,” said Brenda J. Bacon, Brandywine Living President and CEO.
The new wing will follow the conversion of Moorestown’s sub-acute skilled nursing unit, which is anticipated to begin later this year.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is happening at Moorestown?
Brandywine Living has decided to convert the 37 bed skilled nursing unit of Moorestown Estates to a Serenade wing.
Why was this decided?
Brandywine believes there is a greater need and desire for more assisted living options in the Moorestown market. There are many sub-acute options in the immediate area. Therefore, we have made the decision to renovate the wing and provide more assisted living options for the area’s seniors.
When is this happening?
We notified the Department of Health on June 1st. We have stopped accepting new residents to the skilled nursing unit and begun to wind down operations. We anticipate the unit’s operations to finish around the end of June.
We will continue to provide our 5-star CMS-rated care to our current skilled nursing residents by fully implementing their individual plans of care through discharge.
